Privacy Notice | IT Admin Buster by IT Civils

This notice explains what personal information IT Civils collects through the Site Photo Report Generator and the IT Admin Buster waiting list, why it is collected, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the notification requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Your photographs are never collected

The photo report generator runs entirely inside your own browser. The photographs you choose are read, resized and assembled into a PDF on your own device. They are never uploaded, never transmitted to IT Civils or to any other party, never stored on any server, and nobody at IT Civils ever sees them. Close the page and nothing remains.

This matters on a construction site, where photographs routinely show occupied homes, private property and members of the public. Because that material never reaches us, IT Civils does not process it and holds no copy of it. You remain responsible for the photographs you take and for who you send the finished report to.

What is collected

Only if you choose to join the waiting list:

Email address	So we can tell you when IT Admin Buster is ready.
Your role on site	Optional. Used only to understand who the tool is being built for.
Date and time	Recorded automatically so we know when you signed up.
IP address	Recorded automatically as a basic guard against automated spam sign ups.

Why it is collected, and your choice

To notify you when the product launches or enters testing.
To understand which roles are interested, so the product is built for real needs.

Providing these details is entirely voluntary. The photo report generator is free and fully usable without giving any personal information at all. If you choose not to join the waiting list, the only consequence is that you will not be told when the product is ready.

What is not done with it

It is not sold, rented or traded.
It is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
It is not added to any unrelated newsletter or mailing list.
It is not used to build a profile of you or to make automated decisions about you.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Waiting list entries are stored on the IT Civils website hosting, in a file that is not publicly accessible. Access is limited to the Information Officer. Details are kept only for as long as they are needed for the purpose above, and are deleted once the waiting list has served its purpose or when you ask for removal, whichever comes first.

Your rights under POPIA

You may, at any time and free of charge:

Ask what personal information is held about you.
Ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong.
Ask for it to be deleted, and be removed from the waiting list.
Object to it being used for the purposes described here.
Withdraw your consent, which stops any further emails.

Email ipelengtau93@gmail.com and it will be actioned. You do not need to give a reason.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how your information has been handled, please raise it with us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa: inforegulator.org.za, complaints.IR@justice.gov.za.

Cookies and tracking

The photo report generator sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. It stores a single marker in your own browser to remember that you have already joined the waiting list, so you are not asked twice. That marker never leaves your device and can be cleared by clearing your browser data.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the date at the top will be updated. Material changes affecting how your information is used will be communicated to anyone on the waiting list.
