1 The contract

Whose site, and what were you allowed?

Filled in once. Every day you record afterwards starts from these, so you only type them the first time. The allowance is what your contract says you carry the risk for. Leave anything blank and it is simply left off.

Your rainfall allowance

What the contract deems you carry yourself for inclement weather, before an extension of time is on the table. Read it off the schedule and put it in once. If your contract gives a figure for the whole job rather than per month, use the second box and leave the first blank.

When does a day count as lost?

The rule the totals apply, printed on the document so anybody reading it can see how the days were counted. A day is also counted whenever you record hours lost against it, whatever the rainfall was.

2 The day

What fell, and what stood still

One entry a day. Record it on the day, with the reason written down, and it is a record a delay claim can stand on. Recorded three months later it is an argument.
