Overview

IT Civils ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and buy our products, and what we do with it. We keep it simple: we collect only what we need to sell you a product and deliver it, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

What We Collect

When you buy a product or contact us, we may collect:

  • Your name and email address, so we can deliver your download and support you.
  • Purchase details, such as which product you bought and when.
  • Basic analytics, such as pages visited and device type, collected in aggregate to improve the site. This is done with Google Analytics, which sets a cookie on your device to tell repeat visits apart. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not sell or share it.

We do not store your card or banking details. Those are handled entirely by our payment providers.

How We Use It

  • To deliver your purchased downloads and send order confirmations.
  • To respond to your questions and provide support.
  • To send you product updates or new versions of what you bought (you can opt out at any time).
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Payfast and Paystack. When you pay, your payment information goes directly to them, not to us. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with your order details.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business, such as our payment processors and email delivery system, and only to the extent required to deliver your order.

Data Retention

We keep your order and contact details for as long as needed to support you and to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.

Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to stop sending you marketing messages. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
